Welcome to our Women Empowerment Volunteer Program in Dharamshala, India! Our program focuses on providing education, vocational training, and computer training to women and adolescent girls in the local community. We are seeking international volunteers to join us in our mission to empower women and girls by providing them with the tools and skills they need to succeed.

As a Women Empowerment Volunteer in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, you will have the opportunity to participate in various activities that aim to empower women and adolescent girls. Here are some of the activities that you might be involved in: 

Teaching: You will have the opportunity to teach women and adolescent girls basic literacy skills, as well as vocational skills such as sewing, cooking, and handicrafts. You will also be teaching computer skills to help them improve their employability.

Conducting Workshops: You can conduct workshops to help women and adolescent girls improve their self-esteem, confidence and personality development. You can also conduct workshops on entrepreneurship, financial literacy and other skills that can help them become more independent.

Organizing Events: You can organize events such as awareness campaigns, health camps, and skill fairs that will benefit women and adolescent girls in the community. These events can help raise awareness about issues that affect women and provide them with access to resources that can help them improve their lives.

Providing Counseling: You can provide counseling services to women and adolescent girls who may be facing difficulties in their personal or professional lives. You can help them develop coping mechanisms and provide emotional support to help them overcome their challenges.

Networking and Outreach: You can help build partnerships and networks with other organizations working towards women empowerment in the region. You can also conduct outreach activities to raise awareness about the importance of womens education and empowerment.
